Application
Magnesium chloride anhydrous is the main precursor to metallic magnesium;
Magnesium chloride is one of many substances used for dust control, soil stabilization, and wind erosion mitigation;
Magnesium chloride is used for low-temperature de-icing of highways, sidewalks, and parking lots;
Magnesium chloride is used to supply the magnesium necessary to precipitate phosphorus in the form of struvite from agricultural waste as well as human urine;
In food industry, magnesium chloride is an important coagulant used in the preparation of Tofu. At the same time, it is used as curing agent, nutritional supplement, texture modifier, dough improver, etc in food industry.
Magnesium chloride is also used in nutrition and medicine.
