Application

With the properties of thickness and stability, sodium alginate is widely used in food, pharmaceutical, printing, dyeing,etc as thickener and stabilizer.

Sodium alginate is a excellent replacement of starch in printing and dyeing industry. Sodium alginate, used as printing paste, will not affect the reactive dyes and dyeing process, at the same time, it will reach to a brilliant and bright colors and good sharpness, with high color yield and uniformity. It is also used as warp sizing, which can make the warp fibers without raising, with friction resistance, low breakage rate.
